The Beats Pill

The first portable speaker with Bluetooth connectivity was released in the Beats product range in mid January 2013. This speaker is known as the Beats Pill, it is a portable speaker unit which is designed as a cylindrical pill. 

It is of 190 mm in length and of 45 mm in diameter. The weight of the speaker unit is only 310 grams and has four one inch drivers included. The speaker unit comes with a front grill of metal and a rubberized base.
